I had a second (or fifth – second “official”) ultrasound today. During my last ultrasound in July, they discovered two potential problems. 1 – I had a low-lying placenta. (When Patti initially did my ultrasound in March, she said I had placenta previa, which is a complication in which the placenta grows in the lowest part of the womb and covers all or part of the cervix. Since this complication can be life threatening to both the mother and baby, I would have had to have had a c-section to deliver the baby.) 2- And during my previous ultrasound, they were unable to clearly see Cale’s heart and wanted to make sure that it was functioning properly.
In the weeks since my previous ultrasound, Steve and I have prayed, stood on God’s Word and have spoken to both my body and Cale’s. We commanded the placenta to move up to be in perfect position. We also spoke to Cale’s heart to be healthy, and we prayed that he would be in perfect position during the ultrasound to verify the condition of his heart.
Today during my ultrasound, the ultrasound tech confirmed that the placenta has moved into perfect position. In fact, she said that it had moved so far up that she couldn’t even get both the placenta and the cervix in the same ultrasound picture! Additionally, when looking at Cale’s heart, she kept saying, “Beautiful! It’s just beautiful!” His heart, all four chambers, were clearly visible and were working perfectly!
God is such a good God! His Word ALWAYS works! He is so good to me!!!
The latest picture of my beautiful and perfect baby boy - His face is looking right at us in this picture. His eyes are dark, and you can see his nose and mouth and cheeks. He’s so beautiful!
