Cale turned two-months-old yesterday!
He had his two-month checkup with his pediatrician today. The skinny on our boy:
He is 25” long (more than two feet tall!), which puts him in the 98th percentile for height. He weighs 14 lbs 1.4 oz; putting him in the 94th percentile. What this means – our boy is tall – VERY tall – and very skinny.
Due to Cale’s height, he is wearing a wide range of sizes right now. For one-piece outfits, he wears at least a 6 month. Size 3-6 months are too short. In onesies, he’s wearing 3-6 months. Anything smaller won’t snap. In pants, he is wearing 0-3 months, and they slide right off of him. He’s wearing size 6-18 month socks. He is wearing size 1 shoes, but I’m sure that size 2 shoes will not be too big.
Cale is now holding his head up for long periods of time. He smiles and coos. He grabs onto anything he can reach.
He sleeps for about 6 hours at a time at night, meaning that he gets up just once a night to eat. Within the next month, he should be able to sleep all night without having to wake up and eat. (Mommy is SO looking forward to those nights!)
This afternoon, Cale reached another milestone – he rolled over from his back to his tummy!! (He rolled from his tummy to his back on Christmas Eve.)
Cale is such a sweet and happy baby. He is so cuddly! We are so in love!!!
