My kids love PEZ dispensers. They don’t have to have candy in them. They are toys all by themselves.
Today Cale got a Disney’s 101 Dalmations PEZ dispenser (sans candy). Claire calls it Cale’s puppy on a stick.
Immediately places it in his mouth
He is one happy boy today and is refusing to share his new puppy on a stick. He loves it!
In other news, Cale started walking today. Before today, he would take up to three steps at a time and then sit. Then this morning, while Claire and I were deep into some conservation that was apparently quite uninteresting to him, Cale just stood up and walked off down the hall. He acted very nonchalant about it all – as if he always exits a room in this manner. Claire, of course, took interest in his walking when I did; however, instead of just grabbing a camera to capture the moment, she rushed up to him squealing and clapping and enjoying the moment. Afraid of being run over, he sat. Every time he stands now, she rushes over to get him to walk. He doesn’t want to. So I have failed to get this amazing milestone on “film” just yet. Hopefully I’ll have a video to post over the weekend.
